- Drag Sunnyy to Applications first.The download opens a window with the app and a shortcut to your Applications folder. Drag one onto the other, then open Sunnyy from Applications — not from the download window. macOS runs anything opened straight from a download as a temporary copy, which quietly throws away the permissions you grant it.
- Look up, not down.Sunnyy lives in the menu bar at the top of your screen, not the Dock. Open it and a small sun appears up there — that is it running. It opens by itself when you log in, so it is there after a restart.
- Sign in with your email.We send a six-digit code. No password to invent, no credit card to start.
- Say yes to a few permissions.Sunnyy asks for the microphone, then speech, then permission to see your screen and control your Mac — one at a time, each with a plain explanation of what it is for. Two of them (Accessibility and screen viewing) can only be switched on in System Settings; Sunnyy opens the exact page and waits. You can skip any of them and grant them later in Settings → General → Permissions.
- Double-tap Option and hold.Wake Sunnyy with a double-tap, then hold Option while you speak and let go when you are done. That is the whole interface — it works in any app, anywhere on your Mac.
If something goes wrong.
macOS says it cannot be opened. The download was probably interrupted. Delete it and download again rather than working around the warning — the build is notarized, so a real copy never triggers that.
You cannot find it after opening. It has no Dock icon by design. Look along the top-right of your menu bar for a small sun.
It vanished after a restart, or it is missing from your privacy settings, or it cannot click and type for you even though you granted permission. All three mean the same thing: it was opened before being dragged into Applications, so macOS was running a throwaway copy. Sunnyy now offers to move itself the first time it notices — say yes, and grant the permissions again to the copy that relaunches.
